Latest News - Fronting Warning From TC Bell

Fronting, in operator licensing is when an individual (usually disqualified or with damaged repute) uses the name of someone else on an operator licence to avoid making known their involvement in the business.

Senior TC Beverly Bell has stated that “While each case turns on its merits, I send a clear deterrent to anyone who attempts to front for those already disqualified…they face not only revocation of the licence but potentially a lengthy period of disqualification”.

This was after she imposed a 10 year ban on an operator who had been found fronting for a previously disqualified operator.
