Sole Trader Refused Licence

Inverness sole trader refused operator licence.

A sole trader from Inverness has been refused an operator licence following a public inquiry, during which it was revealed that the sole trader had been stopped previously three times without a valid operator licence.

This combined with previous inability to show financial standing and other convictions, caused the Traffic Commissioner to decide to refuse the licence until the applicant can demonstrate that he could conduct his business lawfully before any future application would be approved.

Donít put your application off, if you are operating HGVs or PSVs in your business, you need an operator licence. If you are operating illegally, it could ruin your chances of getting a licence in the future.
